Good afternoon,
Yesterday being valentine's day, Marge and I went to visit children and grandchildren, wishing Chris a happy birthday we missed last Wednesday night's celebration due to Marge's broken arm, and the need to be quiet resting. Yesterday, she made up for lost time, after getting back home at noon, her sister's family dropped in to visit, say hi, join us for a tasty lunch then head off to check their cabin for winter damage. After everyone left, Marge was ready to nap, and I went to studio to sketch and start a painting for a friend of ours, he is our son's father in law, Ken who is a big game hunter. In 2007, he was bow hunting whitetail deer and harvested this ten point whitetail buck, a 5 X 5 western count, and so his wife Vicki was able to send me a jpeg of that morning's harvest, and I'm proceeding to paint, and frame for a surprise get together when they get back from their winter trip to Las Vegas. We enjoy having fun with them, they are retired too and enjoy getting out in the wildness for photography, hunting and fishing.
I think I have captured Ken's personality and physical essence, I hope to be able to continue to commission more works this year.
Have a great afternoon.
Jimmy
