Caring For His Mate
Good morning or afternoon as the case may be where ever you are. I hope your day is going well and the election process has not worn you out. The good news is they have to stop talking and go to work soon and like all of us working for our daily bread, effort is so important. I wish the new president elect and his new to be announced cabinet goodness and a willingness to listen to over 200,000,000 of us souls that have wisdom of the ages, that's a lot better tribe when you think about any situation being faced. Listening daily is the key, starting the day with others besides your cabinet might generate more strength, more trust, and a better way for everyone. The native american wisdom, and listening to elders is valuable teaching, so why do we have so many young souls trying to lead? It's because they have energy and lots of enthusiasm, a can do attitude, which is good, yet the experience is yet to come. I think our President elect can make many decisions and my hope is that he turns to the strength of our nation in the process, the people, "we the people." This is the gift and the secret of the ages our forefathers gave us and when discovered, really discovered and applied, great new beginnings will happen in our day.

In today's painting called "morning glow", this drake shoveler might seem alone, but what you do not see is his mate, the hen, a few feet away and she is on their nest while he is proudly caring for her safety and his new to be announced young. She is confident, even in dangerous situations that his care and watching over will help both of them live and carry on their traditions, safely raising their young. The early morning light and his colors were striking to me with a glow making for such beauty. He is my first shoveler painted this year and I hope to do many more.

My theme this morning is caring for your mate, and faithfulness making them not only happy through your loving them with all your heart, but bringing joy to our world as you both live your lives together. How great is that? Joy to you and yours--forever!!
