Dear horse lovers,

Before getting into, our theme, and horse underpainting for today, just wanted to share with you progress on my daily painting, if you recall starting the month, my goal was to do about 13 paintings for this short month of 28 days. As of yesterday, 2/16, including today's underpanting I have painted 12 paintings, her is a list and title: All of these are in my work-portfollio for you to view and purchase if available.

For the rest of the month, 12 more painting days, actually 10 with 2 Sundays, a painting about every other day some once a day depending on size so I estimate about 5-6 more before the end of the month, for a total of 18 for this month which is a good start to the new year.

In today's underpainting, " a mare and her stallion", I love the way these two wild horses are standing so close together, waiting for me and enjoying the fact that I love viewing and photographing them. As if to say please when you paint us, say what needs to be said besides doing a beautiful job on the painting for all time, we love. Even in the horse kingdom, there are life partners to help along the way of life's journey, can you imagine God thought about every creature large and small, no one left behind or forgotten. The kingdom of animals is there to teach if you can listen, if you can see, if your heart is open to God's story. I hope you enjoy, look later today, probably this morning later, since is not even 6 AM here, look at about 10AM, will be finished. #13 is going to be "sandhills in flight in October."
