We think of Christmas as fun, celebrating with family and friends, great food, warmth by the fireside, or a vacation in warmer climates during the colder weather of winter. This is a special time being spent with those we love, so precious no gold can ever come close to love's gift, the essence of all life.
In our community, like your community, others are having great struggles, sometimes the reasons become lost in all the festive celebrations. We know of a family, the Cyms (Tex and Laurie), they run the local Moonglow Restaurant in Webster,WI, a great American family, Tex and his wife Laurie are not just great cooks providing a warm and loving atmosphere to eat in, but more importantly they are kind, generous, and take their shirt off their backs kind of folks, have you met them? When others in our community are in need, they always helping not taking the easy way out, they sacrifice every day. If you come to visit our community, stop, and if just for a quick cup of coffee or a hearty meal, you'll be taken care of and come back to share in this joyful watering hole.
About a week, maybe two now, the time sort of flies at Christmas, Tex's mother, Geri, fell and broke her arm, not good. She being a trooper, after getting her arm set, came back home to heal. Like every morning, Laurie calls Geri to see how her night went and to help, on this morning there was no answer. Thinking the weather had affected the phone lines, Laurie went over to check, and discovered Geri had passed to spirit, sitting peacefully in her favorite chair.
Their loss is great, yet there is hope, and Geri was so kind to Marge and I when visiting in the Moonglow. At this time, please offer a prayer to the Cyms family, to other families in need and if you are in our area a kind word soothes the soul and helps to heal the pain. A mother's love is special.
This painting,"Geri's Love is a mother's love eternal for her family, God bless you Geri.
