This afternoon's underpainting, called, " flight in October," is a scene whereby the cranes are flying out of the refuge to feed, and returning later that day to roost. I love the sight of cranes and when flying are some of the most graceful birds. I hope you stay tuned this will be a lot of fun finishing.
