What an afternoon,
Can you see the sun where you live, if so, then you are lucky today. We're in a droopy weather band, slight rain and cloudy, yet the new found warmth of 40 F seems strange in early February, after 4 months of below zero weather. The heating BTU's will be less this month, and that's the good news.
In this afternoon's painting I played, no not wild life or portraits, or even landscapes like this morning's landscape underpainting of the Tetons--just color and shapes, so for those out in boon docks not being able to get into town to see freinds, this heart shape is to remind you Valentine's day is this week, whether you have spouse, friend, signicant other, or maybe no one, you are not alone, I'm thinking good thoughts for you. The painting is called "spheres" AND YOU CAN SEE MANY SHAPES IN THE COLORS, somewhat abstract yet playful. Art is in the eye of the artist and the beholder, you, and whether the art is popular or just pasing through, this artist has had some fun in the process.
Have a good afternoon. No one took me up on receiving a print of plate 4, called earth, so I guess no one has any ideas about my questions as posed. I'll ask a simpliar question today, and rather than limit the print to earth, I'll open up and say any image on or in my work portfollio, then you have choice completely.
In the next week, those brave enough to answer this question, can go into my portfollio and select the image for a print--send me your e-mail or address to mail, either way is ok.
Question: If you have a deep interest in strengthening your creative spirit, could be for art or any other creative adventure, what ways can you think of that would be fun to do if you had no limits on time or money? Those answering by next Thursday, can send choice for print to jimmy@jimmyspringett.com.
I hope to hear from some of you creative folks--have a good afternoon, and have a fun evening.
Jimmy
